The Rockwell 1250 Series of VMEbus FDDI Adapters is Rockwell's thirdgeneration of high-performance networking adapters for both fiber andcopper (UTP) applications.These are low-cost, high performance single slot VME FDDI adapters in a6U form factor. Each features a Rockwell-designed custom pipelineprocessor, the FDDI System Interface Controller (FSIC), and uses AMD'ssecond generation FDDI chipset-Supernet II. Each has a minimum of 128Kof Static RAM and the ability to handle 512 source and destinationaddresses via optional Content Addressable Memory (CAM).
